Here is Luyangyu Tong (Nicholas, 童卢阳宇).
I am a graduate student majoring in Electrical Engineering at University of Tokyo now. I love playing games (such as The Bazzar, Hearthstone, OverWatch 2, Onmyoji), cats and dogs, reading, cosmic, traveling, photographing, music, cooking and gym exercise. I am quite willing to make new friends.

My current research focuses on practical problems that wearable and flexible electronic devices face in real life, especially in Intelligent Healthcare. My interests include the Soft Electronics and its applications in Human-Computer Interfaces. I am working on the next-generation wearable devices. I am working in the Interactive Electronic Device Lab as a graduate student and develop a eye tracking system based on strain sensors and machine learning algorithms under the guidance of Prof.Naoji Matsuhisa.

- May 2026: The abstract of my research titled as “A Flexible and Wearable Eye Tracking System Integrated with AI for Long-term and Real-world Monitoring” has been accepted by the 2026 GCIM conference! I am excited to travel to Jeju in Korea and present my work there!
